This question is from the book, which includes a list of questions from a young boy. While simple, I find myself in deep inquiry about the past and our relationship to memory as a creative force frequently--is the substance of memory fundamentally different to a thought tied to our current reality? What is the texture or memory, its flavor? What is a memory after the experience has passed, what is its purpose?
Tending Time is a monthly writing project pulsed around the full moons, each month focusing on a memory and weaving a bridge of meaning that brings the past, like the tide, rolling back in continuous waves.
During the winter months, I assemble these writings into a compact poetry collection which is hand-bound and offered at limited release.
