INITIATING CURIOSITY:As creative beings, where is the dividing line between individual, environment, collective, culture and the natural world?

Plant Band began as an experimental project of Dr. Megan Poe in upstate NY with a gathering of musicians, poets, chefs, visual artists, philosophers, writers and conservationists. Over the course of 3-4 days, a group gathers to listen and connect with the energies of the land, forests, animals and local plants. 

The premise of plant band is that anyone can be in plant band! All that is required is the desire to actively listen to the earth and to one another, to explore new forms of safe attachment and to create from that space as opposed to the production-oriented spaces to which we are so accustomed.
