INITIATING CURIOSITY:Can vocal frequencies effect physical matter?


Since 2022, I have been exploring the intersection of vibration, voice, healing, the human body and natural spaces in order to explore the ways in which the human voice interacts with physical matter.

This project began with a desire to sing in nature’s most beautiful and resonant spaces - caves, forests, shorelines,  mountains - as a form of deep listening to the earth and the subtle energies which are around us all the time. 

In an audial landscape which is increasingly becoming flattened and homogenized due to species erasure, the loss of biodiversity to climate change and the digitalization of sound, a gathering of human voices still has immense power to communicate, transform, open portals and move pockets of stagnant energy. 

My goal is to house a library of recordings from potent energetic locations on the planet,  in concert with the natural elements, creating a fusion of sound that is part mineral, part plant, part animal and part human.
